T1/E1 Interface
Features
The optional T1/E1 matrix interface can be installed in any slot numbered from 1 through 24 inclusive in the 26-slot chassis, and from 1 through 5 in the 6 slot-chassis, following the grouping outlines in the user manual for best usage.
The T1/E1 matrix card is an 8 port RJ-48C port which is based on relay switching matrix technology. Commands to setup or tear down connections are received from a CPU control card via LVDS backplane bus.
